The Bay Foundation (TBF), in partnership with California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW), Friends of Ballona Wetlands (FBW), and community volunteers, are conducting a project to remove invasive vegetation while broadening public involvement and stewardship at the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve.
This report serves as the first annual report of the “Ballona Wetlands Restoration: Community Iceplant Removal Project” prepared for the California Coastal Commission to meet the annual reporting requirements for Coastal Development Permit No. 5-15-1427. This report summarizes restoration activities and monitoring results from 1 September 2016 through July 2017.
