The Report
The 2010 State of the Bay Report is the latest in a series of “State of the Bay” reports published by the Santa Monica Bay Restoration Commission (SMBRC). The report is published approximately every 5 years since the SMBRC was established as a National Estuary Program in the late 1980s. This newest report provides a new way of looking at the health of the Bay’s natural habitats and resources, measures progress made towards achieving the goals of the “Bay Restoration Plan,” and identifies challenges ahead.
The "State of the Bay 2010 - At a Glance" downloadable file provides a brief summary of the topics covered within the report. The file available at this link contains the "at a Glance" section, as well as a brief description of the history of the report and the latest update to our Bay Restoration Plan.
