The Bay Commission's Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is made up of scientific and technical professionals from governmental agencies, universities, research institutions, and environmental organizations, representing a wide range of expertise and disciplines. The role of the TAC is to ensure that the Bay Commission has the necessary scientific and technical information upon which to base its decision making. Over the years, the TAC has assisted us in developing and prioritizing research agendas, overseeing implementation of key research projects, developing a comprehensive regional monitoring program, and providing technical guidance and feedback on the development of new environmental policies.

The TAC meets every three months. The next meeting is scheduled for September 10, 2008.  Meeting information and current agendas for the TAC are posted in the Calendar section as they become available.
